Upon my arrival at The Ivy Hotel I was completely overtaken by one thing, luxury at it's sexiest.  Stunning modern interior design and architecture let's you know you have arrived in an establishment like no other.  After a quick check in with the front desk I was up to my room somewhere on one of the six floors.  Now, Hotel Ivy being the latest hottest additon to the Gas Lamp Quarter demands several standards ranging from;  roomservice, food and of course lodging.  Let's begin with the rooms...
 
For all you posh scensters of West Hollywood, eat your heart out because the rooms at Hotel Ivy are dressed from head to toe in the latest modern gear.  A blend of New york Chic, Las Vegas bling and a touch of Hollywood glam to top it off is a combination rivaled by no other. Oh, and let's not forget the Sony Plasma screens for your viewing pleasure. Famous Hollywood set designer Dayna Lee of Powerstrip Studios, designed the IVY’s décor as a statement of his way of living.  "We created an adult playground wholly focused on our guest’s enjoyment and pleasure,” says Michael Kelly, the force of nature behind the IVY Hotel.  Now if your planning to bring a special someone back to your room make sure she dose'nt mind showering nude for people to see.  Because the showers are enclosed in a 360 degree glass box for everyone in your room to see.  So hey, nothing great on that gigantic Sony plasma of yours? Check out the playboy channel live in your bathroom shower.  So now you've seen that hot number showering, it's time to head to the pool deck to enjoy one my favorite things Ivy Hotel had to offer, their lobster club sandwich with a side of sweet cut potatoe fries, but the Hugh Hefner Bachelor life dosen't end just yet ...
 
Gone are the days of partying on sea level.  San Diego's ultra-chic and trendy crowd has gone up, literally.  Rooftop bars are now in, but nobody does it bigger and hipper than Ivy Hotel located on 600 F street Downtown/Gaslamp San Diego. Escape the meadering random drunks and creeps afterhours of the nightlife and lounge and sip on a mojito at a poolside bar. This dimly lit atmosphere sets the mood for a party away from the party.  And if that's not enough go even more exclusive at a private cabanna.  And what goes on in there, well that's your perogative.
